About Eugene Jho
On April 21st, some time ago, Eugene looked in his fridge, made himself a three-egg omelet, and wrote an earnest email to a food stylist. He had an MFA from Glasgow School of Art, hard-earned kitchen chops, and ran a supper club out of his home in Brooklyn, he'd said. Later that evening, while watching the Bunuel movie with the fake chicken, his favorite, he received an email back.
As a food stylist, Eugene aims to create images that evoke a strong feeling, whether they make the stomach growl, seduce the eye, or slap the face. It's a good day when it's all of the above.
When he's not roasting real chickens or wrangling fried eggs for editorial and advertising clients, chances are Eugene is eating.Artist Website
