CHARLES GULLUNG Charles Gullung first picked up a camera as a kid in New Orleans to capture the skateboarding exploits of his friends. He hasn't put it down since. Charles began his career cutting his teeth shooting editorial assignments and large stock libraries. He was most often photographing in multiple locations in one day making it necessary to change moods quickly and successfully. These libraries captured real moments in life that everyone can relate to. Whether he’s shooting a library of various models, young children for Fisher Price, real investors for Vanguard or senior citizen’s and models for healthcare, Charles is known for his thoughtful, energetic and photojournalistic approach to creating honest and real images. Gullung's spontaneous, intuitive style consistently seeks the spirit of the moment. His desire to capture his 5 kids on the move inspired him to start shooting action, which has become a growing passion.
